Cuttack: With Odisha registering more than 400 COVID positive cases for three consecutive days, the Fever Clinic at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack has been reopened.
After the reopening of the Fever Clinic, which also deals with suspected COVID patients, more than 100 samples have been tested for the disease. But, no patient is being treated currently as most of them have been recommended for home isolation.
The Fever Clinic was closed as the rate of COVID infection came down after third wave across the state.
At present, there are 8 beds in Out Patient Department (OPD), 13 in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 10 in High Dependency Units (HDU) and 40 beds in the ward of the hospital.
As many as 470 persons tested positive for COVID across the state in the last 24 hours, while the figure was 428 on Thursday and 401 on Wednesday.
Similarly, the positive cases have also been steadily rising in Cuttack which reported 94 positive cases on Friday, 88 on Thursday and 64 on Wednesday.
