Cuttack: The spirit of sports and sportsmanship was celebrated at the Norwegian Sports Meet hosted by Sri Sri University at its campus on Friday. The meet was presided over by Mohamed Moncef Marzouki, former President of Tunisia and a Norwegian delegation comprising six Olympiads.
Prof. Dr Nand Lal, Vice Chancellor, Sri Sri University, Rajita Kulkarni, president, Sri Sri University, Captain Chandra Shekhar Panda, Director Student Affairs, Sri Sri University and Commodore Ghanshyam Ojha, Executive Registrar, Sri Sri University were present.
Students of Department of Visual and Performing Arts and the Department of Yogic Science of the university presented Odissi and Yoga performances.

Christoph Daum, German professional football coach and former player who last managed the Romania national team, gave an insightful address where he asked the youth to have a positive attitude and leadership qualities to overcome the hurdles and obstacles in one’s life.
Rajita Kulkarni, president, Sri Sri University, said sports helps in achieving physical fitness, mental strength and resilience, which are important tools to lead a happy and successful life.
