Bhubaneswar: It’s truly a Super Sunday without parallel.

Sportslovers are looking forward to an eventful July 11, when they will be glued to their television sets all day.

The hectic day will start early, at 5.30 am, when Argentina clashes with Brazil in an absolutely mouth-watering Copa America final. It’s being billed as a battle between two superstars Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Messi, considered by many to be up there with all-time greats like Pele and Maradona, has achieved a lot for his Spanish club FC Barcelona but is yet to win a major trophy with Argentina. He came close in 2014, when he guided Argentina to the World Cup final only to go down 0-1 in a close final against Germany. This could be his last chance to win a silverware for his country.

After a leisurely Sunday lunch with family, it’s advisable to take a nap, because the evening will be literally action-packed.

The Wimbledon men’s final will get underway at 6.30 pm. A battle royal is in store, with Novak Djokovic taking on Italian Mateo Berretini. Djokovic, who will be playing his 30th Grand Slam final, is eyeing a record-tying 20th major title on Sunday that will put him on level terms with his two great rivals Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Berretini, on the other hand, will be contesting his first Grand Slam final. He will be looking to take inspiration from the Italian football team which will face England in the European championship final later at night, from 12.30 am.

In between, the Indian women’s cricket team will try its luck against a strong English team in the second T20 International.

There will be some overlap between the tennis and cricket, but who cares?
