Panchkula: Bringing laurels for the State, sprinter Jayanti Behera clinched a gold in 400m category in the ongoing Para-Athletic Championships at Panchkula on Wednesday. She clocked a timing of one minute one second to win the medal.
She had also bagged a gold in the 100m (13.28 secs) and 200m (27.47 secs), taking the total medal tally to three gold in the championship.
This is third year in a row that Jayanti has achieved such a feat. In 2016 and 2017, Jayanti had bagged three gold event in 100m, 200m and 400m category.
