Bhubaneswar: Sqn Ldr (Prof.) Ashis Kumar Mohanty, Retired Director of College of Basic Science and Humanities, Odisha University Agriculture & Technology (OUAT), has been appointed as Secretary, Odisha Bigyan Academy, by Odisha government’s Science and Technology Department.
Prof. Mohanty has served for over 33 years in the institution. He also served as Associate NCC Officer for 20 years and won DG’s Commendation and Odisha Chief Minister’s award.
Prof. Mohanty worked as NSS Programme Officer and Secretary, Cultural Council, OUAT.
He has been associated with National Children Science Congress for more than 20 years and also with Snake Helpline, Bhubaneswar.
