SRK’s Son Aryan Tests COVID -Ve, Shifted To Common Cell; Counsel Maintains No Drugs Found On Him

Mumbai: Son of Bollywood superstar Shah Ruk Khan, Aryan Khan and 5 others were shifted to common cell from quarantine barrack in the jail after their COVID report came negative, Nitin Waychal,  superintendent of Arthur Road Jail, informed media persons.

The hearing on Aryan Khan’s bail plea resumed today. Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh is likely to wrap up his arguments against bail for SRK’s son.

Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3 in connection with the seizure of banned drugs on board a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.
So far, 20 people have been arrested in the case.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has accused Aryan of procuring drugs, while Aryan’s lawyer Amit Desai has maintained that no drugs were found with his client during raids.

Desai had also told the court on Wednesday that Aryan was “not even on the cruise” raided by anti-drugs officers on October 2, so the allegation of drug trafficking against him is “absurd”.

The probe agency also claimed to have unearthed global links related to Aryan Khan.

Will Aryan Khan get bail or stay in jail for some more time.
