Mumbai: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday rejected media reports suggesting that it had concluded the probe into actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
“CBI continues to investigate the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. There are certain speculative reports in media that the CBI has reached a conclusion. It may be reiterated that these reports are speculative and erroneous,” the central agency said.
Several media organizations had reported that the CBI had reached a conclusion and might wrap up the case soon and file its closure report in a Bihar court.
The 34-year-old Sushant was found hanging in his Bandra residence on June 14 this year.
