Bhubaneswar: The stage is set for the third season of SIRS (SAI International Residential School) Champions Trophy, a highlight of SAI Kaleidoscope 2024.
The player auction took place on Saturday as six participating teams — Kohli Warriors, Ganguly Gang, Sachin Smashers, Dhoni Devils, Sehwag Swaggers, and David Dodgers — took part in a bidding war to assemble their dream squads.
A unique feature of SIRS Champions Trophy is the school’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
Each team comprises XI players, including minimum of two girls and one teacher.
The tournament promises electrifying action and exciting cricket, culminating in the grand finale on March 22.
There will be lots of incentives for players in Season 3 of the SIRS Champions Trophy.
Outstanding performances will be acknowledged with special awards like Impact Player of the Series, highest scorer and standout performers among boys and girls.
“We are thrilled to bring back SIRS Champions Trophy for its third season as part of SAI Kaleidoscope 2024. This tournament embodies the spirit of sportsmanship, inclusivity and passion for cricket. We invite everyone to join us for an unforgettable journey filled with excitement, camaraderie, and unforgettable cricketing moments,” SAI International Education Group Chairperson Dr Silpi Sahoo said after the auction ceremony.
