Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the budget session, Finance Minister Sashi
Bhusan Behera chaired a consultation meeting on Wednesday and sought
suggestions from financial experts for the inclusion of the same in the
state budget.
In the meeting held at state guest house here, different aspects of
the annual budget, which is scheduled to be presented in Odisha
assembly in the third week of February, were discussed.
“It was decided that more emphasis will be placed on agriculture and
infrastructure development in the upcoming budget-2018-19”, the
minister said.
Former finance ministers, experts and other stakeholder groups
attended the meeting.
