Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the Winter Session of the Odisha Assembly beginning from November 16, the state cabinet will have a meeting on Friday evening.
The meeting, to be presided over by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat, will begin at 5.45 pm.
The cabinet is likely to give approval to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) Bill-2016 which will be tabled in the State Assembly during the session.
Apart from this, the cabinet will also approve other important proposals including the amendment in the cadre rules of government employees, sources said.
