Bhubaneswar: Prof Kamal Lochan Mahanta and student Prateek Dash of Siksha O Anusandhan (SOA), here have been awarded state-level NSS award for their contribution to nation-building and social service.
They were awarded at a function here which was attended by Higher Education minister Arun Sahoo who said effective changes in the society through social service can fulfill the aim of NSS.
Regional director of NSS Sarita Patel and state NSS officer Dr Surekha Sundari Swain were present on the occasion.
The founder president of SOA Prof Manoranjan Nayak has congratulated Prof Mahanata and Prateek for their achievement.
