Bhubaneswar: The Second State Open School Certificate Examination (SOSC), conducted by Board of Secondary Education, will begin from August 29 and culminate on September 8.
Altogether, 14, 061 candidates have registered and the exam will be conducted in 64 centres of the state.
The admit cards are now available in the board website,www.bseodisha.ac.in.
The chiefs of study centres can download the admit cards of the applicants from the website. They have to put a signature on the admit card, before giving it to the applicants. Hard copies of the admit cards will not be sent to the centres.
The examination will follow a new pattern this year. Instead of OMR sheets, they will give the test in a question-answer booklet, informed Board Examination Controller Nihar Ranjan Mohanty. The OMR facilities will not also be available in further examinations also, he added.
For the Open School Examination, the present sheet will be sent to the examination centres till August 25, Mohanty informed.
