Bhuabneswar: The Odisha Chief Minister on Monday announced that the name of the State Secretariat will be changed to Lok Seva Bhawan.
The Chief Minister informed this while discussing the demand for grant discussion in the State Assembly today.
He also said, “To take the delivery of services and governance to the next level, my Government has enunciated the 5T mantras, namely, Technology, Teamwork, Transparency, and Time leading to Transformation.”
“My Government is committed to maintaining transparency in administration. The office of the Lokayukta has started functioning since March 20, 2019.
“I am highly indebted to the people of our state and will continue to work hard to fulfill the aspirations of our people. In a democracy, people are masters and we all exist to serve them. I would like to use this opportunity to announce that ‘Sachivalaya’ or Secretariat will now be called as ‘Lok Seva Bhawan’.
