State transfers senior bureaucrats in minor reshuffle

Bhubaneswar: Four IAS officers and a senior OAS officer were assigned new responsibilities on Saturday.

In the minor reshuffle at the top bureaucracy, the state government appointed Nirmal Chandra Mishra as the new collector of Khurda. He was earlier serving as the collector and district magistrate of Cuttack.

According to a General Administration Department notification, Susanta Mohapatra, Additional Secretary in the Home Department, will replace Mishra.

Similarly, Madhab Chandra Bariha, Secretary to RDC (North Zone), has been posted as Additional Secretary of Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) department. He will replace senior OAS officer Bibhuti Bhusan Behera, who has been posted as RDC (North Zone).

Dhiren Kumar Panaik, now the Additional Secretary of Agriculture and FE Department, has been appointed as the new Director of the Higher Education Department, the notification added.
