Rourkela: A day after Patna-Bilaspur Weekly Superfast Express crossed Rajgangpur railway station in Odisha’s Sundargarh district without halting, Chakradharpur DRM on Monday suspended station master SK Mishra for alleged dereliction of duty.
Patna-Bilaspur Weekly Superfast Express crossed Rajgangpur railway station, which is a scheduled stoppage for the train, around 2.25 pm on Sunday. It caused severe inconvenience for passengers who were waiting at the station to board the train.
The train later stopped at Garposh to allow the passengers to board it. Those who had to alight at Rajgangpur, took another train to reach the station, sources said.
