Baripada: In order to prevent second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, Mayurbhanj district administration has directed the business establishments and the public to follow the protocols strictly.
The administration has instructed the people to wear face mask, maintain 6 feet distance at public places and sanitize hands frequently. The shop owners in the market places have been told to deal with the customers as per the norms. Strong action will be taken for those violating the rules, said the sources.
The administration also plans to cancel the fairs and Yatras, allowing only rituals to be performed in the festivals.
Enforcement squads will be formed to enforce the guidelines. District collector has directed the officials concerned to observe the activities of the people coming from outside the state.
