Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch seized 1.32 kg brown sugar and arrested three persons during a raid at Rajabazar area under Jatni police limits and on Thursday.
Three arrested are: Sk Samir, Syed Imtiyaz, both of Rajabazar and Ratiranjan of Delang in Puri district.
During the search brown sugar weighing 1.32 kg, Rs 1.65 lakh cash, a bike (Pulsar) were seized from their possession.
The accused persons could not produce any document or authority for possession of such contraband brown sugar.
The three persons have been arrested and will be forwarded to the court. A case has been registered in this connection by the STF under the NDPS Act 1985.
