Stone Of Iconic Adarsha Vidyalaya In Bhubaneswar To Be Laid On Sunday

Bhubaneswar: The foundation stone of the state government’s proposed iconic Adarsha Vidyalaya in the city will be laid on September 5.

Speaking to the media on Friday, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said the foundation stone of the higher secondary school for Classes XI and XII will be laid on the occasion of the Teachers’ Day.

He said the school will be constructed at an estimated budget of Rs 100 crore on 25 acre of land at Andharua. It is targeted to be completed by 2022.

Around 500 students from 314 Adarsh Vidyalayas across the state will take admission from 2022-23 academic year. The government will bear the expenses of education and lodging of the students, the minister said.
