Koraput: A five-year-old boy died after being attacked by stray dogs at a village in Koraput district on Monday.
The dead kid has been identified as Padman, the son of one Sadhu Paraja of Kusumaguda in Baipariguda block.
Sources said Padman had gone to Kurlu river to take bath with his elder brother. His brother was taking a bath when stray dogs attacked Padman sitting on the riverbank. The boy died on the spot.
Unfortunately, Padman’s brother has impaired hearing and could not hear the kid screaming.
Villagers alleged that stray dogs had killed two goats in nearby Dakraguda village earlier.
