Bhubaneswar: The passengers of Air India special flight from Dubai to Bhubaneswar will have to undergo strict corona protocol on their arrival at Biju Patnaik Internation Airport her on Thursday.
The Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Prem Chandra Chaudhary told the mediapersons that all the passengers will be screened and registered.
In symptomatic cases, the passengers will be sent for institutional quarantine. Later, they will be tested for coronavirus. The decision will be taken for those testing positive after the reports come in, said Chaudhary.
Arrangements have been made to transport other passengers to their respective places.
The officials of Health department, BMC and airport besides police will coordinate to ensure hassle-free implementation of the process at the airport.
