Puri: In a tragic incident, a student drowned while taking bath in the sea at Puri on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Srinjan Sinha (21), a student of a private hotel management institute in Bhubaneswar. He was a native of West Bengal.
According to reports, Sinha, along with his two friends, had gone to the beach for bath. He was washed away during high tide. Though some local fishermen pulled him out of the sea and rushed him to the district headquarters hospital, the doctors declared him brought dead.
Sinha had been staying in a hotel there with his nine friend since July 13.
