Balasore: A student was found hanging at the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) at Bampada in Odisha’s Balasore district on Thursday.
The deceased, identified as Vivek Sahu from Batamangala area in Puri, was found hanging inside his hostel room.
According to media reports, Sahu’s family members alleged that he took the extreme step because of ragging. They have demanded a high-level probe into the death.
