Sambalpur: A student of Class-VII was allegedly molested by her English teacher at Muhalapali area under Kuchinda sub-division in Sambalpur district.
The Sambalpur district unit of the BJD women’s wing met the SDPO and demanded immediate arrest of the teacher on Wednesday. They also demanded police protection for family members.
According to reports, the teacher asked the girl to collect some vegetables from the store room and followed her there. He then molested her. The girl narrated her ordeal to the school headmaster and her family members, who filed a complaint.
The accused is absconding.
