Cuttack: A girl student of SCB Medical College and Hospital, here has tested positive for coronavirus. This is the first corona positive case reported from the premier medical college of Odisha.
The final year MBBS student had returned from Telangana last week and admitted in SCB isolation ward. After she developed corona symptoms, her swab was sent for laboratory test.
After the test report confirmed corona positive, the student was admitted in Aswini COVID Hospital, sources said.
A doctor of Cuttack City Hospital, who was affected by the virus earlier, has returned home after the treatment.
