Bhubaneswar: Students have demanded re-conduct of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) exam after the server crashed within 15 minutes of commencement of the exam at different examination centres in the city.
They alleged repeated power failure at the centres and irregularities in the examination for which they sought immediate action. They demanded that the board re-conduct the exam for junior engineers (JEs).
Candidates at the RRB JE exam centre inside Bhubaneswar Institute of Industrial Technology (BIIT) in Retang said either the Railway Recruitment Board or the examination centre was responsible for the irregularities. The railway JE exam is a computer-based examination of 90 minutes duration.
