Rayagada: A group of students of Agul residential school at Muniguda in Rayagada district locked up their headmaster in a room for allegedly misbehaving with a minor girl.
Police reached the spot after being informed about the incident and rescued the headmaster, who was locked in the room for the whole night.
According to information, the headmaster took the Class 8 student of the school to his room at around 9 pm on Saturday and spent a couple of hours with her in the room. Following which, the students locked the room from outside at around 12:30 am and immediately brought the matter to the notice of Agul sarpanch.
The headmaster is being questioned by police.
