Students queue up for Plus II admission in state

Bhubaneswar: The first-phase admission to Plus II Arts, Science and Commerce streams in 1,583 junior colleges across the state began on Friday. It will continue till June 19.
Of the total 4,13,170 applicants, 3,22,176 featured in the first cut-off list. Of these, around 2.2 lakh are in Arts, 85,569 in Science and 21,821 in Commerce.
The Ravenshaw Junior College in Cuttack secured the highest cut off (93.17 %) followed by BJB College in Bhubaneswar with 92.67 %.
The second cut-off list will be announced on June 22 and admissions held from June 24 to 28.
Similarly, the third-phase admission will be conducted from July 5 to 6 once the list is out on July 3.
