Bhadrak: Bhadrak sub-collector Pitambar Samal has tested positive for COVID-19, Bhadrak collector Gyana Das informed on Saturday.
Manorama Bhuyan, the additional sub-collector will remain in charge of Sub-Collector, Bhadrak till September 15.
The district administration has started contact tracing of the infected officer.
With eight deaths and 1775 recoveries, the district has 763 active cases at present.
