The government has made it mandatory for all its employees to file a declaration of their movable and immovable properties and their value on December 31 every year by March 31 of the succeeding year.
Bhubaneswar: Considering the appeal of state government service associations, the Odisha government has extended the deadline for submission of property statement by them from March 31 to April 30.
The service associations expressed their inability to submit the property statement on the ground that they were busy in other official works. The General Administration department in a circular stated that a large number of officers could not submit the statement by the deadline in view of their engagement in the Budget session of Assembly and other technical reasons.
“In consideration of the requests of service associations and practical difficulties, the government allows extension of the timeline for submission of property statement online for the period from April 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 and to April 30, 2021,” TNIE quoted the department as stating.
