Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court has ordered the subordinate courts and tribunals to function through virtual mode or video conferencing from Monday.
It will continue to function under restrictions by virtual mode in usual office timings. The public hearing of cases will be held through virtual mode and web links of video conferencing will be shared with the parties involved and their advocates.
The court has made it clear that the physical presence of accused and witness shall not be insisted unless the matter is unavoidable.
