New Delhi: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is facing heat for meeting the First Lady of Turkey Emine Erdogan on Saturday.
Senior BJP MP Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday said Aamir “has to be quarantined in a government hostel” for two weeks upon return according to COVID-19 regulations.
Turkey has been termed as anti-India by Swami for saying that the abrogation of the Article of 370 does not contribute to peace and stability in the region. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava rejected those remarks as “factually incorrect, biased and unwarranted” earlier this month.
The First Lady of Turkey received the actor at the presidential residence at the Huber Mansion in Istanbul on Saturday, India’s 74th Independence Day.
