Bhubaneswar: Celebrated Odia sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a new world record with biggest chocolate-sand installation of Santa Claus at Blue Flag Beach of Odisha’s Puri on the eve on Christmas.
Sudarsan shared a picture of the installation on X and wrote that about 550kg of chocolates was used to create the remarkable chocolate-sand Santa Claus, measuring 160 feet long and 100 feet wide and spread over an area of 16,000 square.
The sand artist shared that it took him 6 hours to complete the sand art and he was assisted by the students of his sand art institution.
In February, 2017, he had created the Guinness World Record for the World’s tallest sand castle, measuring 48 feet and 8 inches, on the beach.
Sudarsan Pattnaik is an Indian sand artist who hails from Puri, Odisha. In 2014, he was honoured with the Padma Shri for his seashore sand arts.
