Puri/Bhubaneswar: Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on Friday dedicated his sand art on Puri sea beach to speakers, delegates and participants of Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF). Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is scheduled to inaugurate the fourth edition of the three-day festival on June 10 in Bhubaneswar.
This year, legendary poet and essayist Haraprasad Das, novelist Anand Neelkantan and poet Paramita Satpathy will be conferred with KLF literary awards.Thirty young minds, who have made promising contribution to language and literature, have been picked for Kalinga literary youth awards.
Kalinga art festival and mystic Kalinga are the two newly added features. A special book release session will also be held and Safdar Hashmi-Duiti Nataka by Dr. Mrinal Chaterjee unveiled. Other prominent books to be released on the occasion are Bridge Called Culture (Adyasha Das), Dynamics of Children Literature (Dr. Nandini Sahoo), Literature and World of Cinema (Dr. Itishree Sarangi), Candid Reflections (Charnjit Singh Chima) and Musing Showers
