Bhubaneswar: Sudarsan Pattnaik has received the People’s Choice Prize in the International Sand Art Championship, 2019 in Boston, USA.
The renowned sand artist from Odisha represented India in the championship.
Sudarsan made a sand art on the theme ‘Plastic Pollution, Save Our Ocean’, winning accolades from the audiences at the festival for his mastery.
The Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival was held from July 26-28.
In 2013, Sudarsan had participated in the World Sand Sculpting Championship in Atlanta.
Earlier in 2010, he had won three gold medals at the North America Solo Sand Sculpting Competition.
