Sudarsan Pattnaik’s Message For Voters, Cast In Sand

Bhubaneswar: Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik and his students have a message for every Indian as India gears up to vote in the general elections. Sudarshan and his team used five tonnes of sand to create an art piece at the beach in Puri. He later shared a photograph of it on Twitter with a message: “Your vote, Your Voice & Vote for Better India”

According to the sand artist, “We have created the sand sculpture to create awareness among voters. All those who are eligible should cast their votes. We war extremely happy and proud that honourable Governor of Odisha Shri Ganeshi Lal visited the sand art and hailed our effort to spread awareness among the voters.”

Hundreds of visitors took photographs or selfies of the spot.
