Mumbai: Rumours of trouble in Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s marriage have been doing the rounds for quite some time.
Reports suggested Govinda’s affair with a 30-year-old Marathi actress caused the rift, and that the celebrity couple has been living separately.
However, the couple celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with the paparazzi, and put an end to divorce rumours.
However, further rumours of marital discord have been fuelled by Sunita, who in her latest vlog took a dig at young actresses for dating established older actors for financial stability.
Sunita, who was joined by Sambhavna Seth in the new episode of her vlog, alleged that Govinda’s family doesn’t wish to see them happily married.
Admitting that Govinda lives separately, Sunita shared, “Main aur Chi Chi rehete aamne saamne hain 15 saal se lekin aana jaana karte rehte hain woh ghar par. Jo achhi aurat ko dukh dega voh kabhi sukhi nahi rahega, bechain rahega. Maine bachpan se leke apni poori zindagi de di usko, aaj bhi itna pyaar karti hun. Naraazgi 100% hai kyunki main bhi toh sun hi rahi hun naa. Lekin, main bohot strong hun kyunki mere paas mere bacche hain. (Chi Chi and I have been living separately for past 15 years. He does visit us. Whoever hurts a good woman, can never be happy. I have sacrificed my whole life for him. I love him even today. I am upset as I too have gone through a lot. But I am very strong because my kids are with me.)”
Addressing rumours of Govinda’s affair, Sunita opened up, “Kya hota hai naa jo ladkiyan aaj kal aati hai struggle karne ke liye, inko sugar daddy ki adat padh gayi hai. Koi naa koi ladkiyan sochti hain ki humaara ghar chal jaayega, pocket money mil jaayega. Jab tak main naa pakdun, lekin agar pakad liya toh fir woh hain naa Sunny Deol ka haath hai mera, 5 kg ka hai. (Well, the struggling actresses who come to make it big in the industry, have become used to sugar daddies. They think the sugar daddies will help them run their houses, give them pocket money. All this is good till the time I don’t catch them red-handed. The day I catch them red-handed then I will break their bones. I have Sunny Deol’s hand which weighs 5 kgs.)”
Even though the couple didn’t confirm trouble in their marriage publicly, Sunita’s statement does reflect her pain.
