Bhubaneswar: While vaccination for children in the 15-18 age group will start from January 3, the Odisha government on Sunday decided to start vaccinating matriculation students in the state after January 8.
The decision was taken by the School and Mass Education Department in view of the summative assessment for Class 10 students that will be held from January 5 to 8.
In case Class 10 examinations are not held depending on the COVID situation, the summative assessment results will be used for evaluation. Around 5.70 lakh students will appear for the matric examinations this year in the state.
