Bhubaneswar: One of the COVID-19 patients from Sundargarh has been fully cured and will soon be discharged, tweeted the Health and Family Welfare Department on Wednesday.
With this, the number of recovered cases in the state rose to 19.
Two persons from Bisra area had tested positive for the virus on April 11. While one among them had attended the Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi’s Nizamuddin, the other had contracted the infection after having come in contact with a Jamaat member.
The department further informed that a record 1197 samples were tested for COVID-19 on Wednesday and no new case was found. Odisha has so far reported 60 positive cases and one death.
