The IPL match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be held as per schedule, stated reports after pacer of the Sunrisers team T Natarajan tested positive for COVID-19 at a scheduled RT-PCR test.
The player has isolated himself from the rest of the squad and is currently asymptomatic, an IPL official told mediapersons. Another SRH player, Vijay Shankar, and five members of the support staff have been identified as close contacts and placed in isolation, the official statement added.
Today evening’s match in Dubai will continue as per schedule as the rest of the contingent, including the close contacts underwent RT-PCR tests at 5 am local time, and the test reports are negative, stated a report.
