Kendrapada: In a major boost to healthcare sector in Odisha’s Kendrapada, a 100-bed super-specialty charitable hospital is set to be established in the coastal district.

The project, initiated under the Prashanthi Balamandir Trust, will be the trust’s first hospital in Odisha. The state government has already identified 10 acres of land for the facility. The hospital will provide completely free medical services to the people of Odisha, with specialists across multiple departments.

To be built at an estimated cost of Rs 110 crore, the project is expected to be completed within 24 months.

Baijayant Panda highlighted that the project fulfils a long-standing demand of Kendrapara residents. He had earlier discussed the proposal with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the Chief Secretary, and senior officials to ensure necessary infrastructure support.
