Keonjhar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha’s Keonjhar district touched 1282 on Tuesday with an overnight addition of 72 positive cases.
According to the district administration, 63 are local contact cases while nine are from quarantine centres.
The highest of 23 have been reported from Anandapur block, followed by 19 from Anandapur municipality, 14 from Hatadihi, three from Banspal, two each from Ghasipura and Joda blocks. They are all contacts of previous positive patients.
Of the quarantine cases, two each have been reported from Keonjhar Sadar and Champuaa and one each from Ghatagaon, Harichandanpur, Hatadihi, and Telkoi.
