Supreme Court Verdict On Ayodhya Tomorrow

The bench had reserved its judgement on October 16 after conducting a marathon hearing which stretched for 40 days.

Earlier on Friday, the CJI had a meeting with the chief secretary and the director general of police of Uttar Pradesh to review the law and order situation in the state.

The state has been put on high alert, flag marches are being carried out across cities and all schools and colleges will remain shut. A nation-wide alert has also been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The apex court had begun hearing of the case on August 6 after mediation between the Hindu and the Muslim claimants had failed.

The demand of the three prominent parties:
The Nirmohi Akhara: Construction of the Ram temple at the disputed site and management right of the premises.
Ram Lalla: Entire site to be handed over to them.
Sunni Waqf Board: Babri Masjid, demolished in 1992, should be restored to its full form.
