Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has appointed Development Commissioner (DC) Suresh Chandra Mahapatra as Commissioner, Agriculture Production.
The 1986-batch IAS officer was given the additional charge on Tuesday (April 28) after Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra was posted as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Health and Family Welfare Department, on April 26.
Mahapatra is currently serving as DC-cum-ACS and Secretary, Planning and Convergence.
