Mumbai: The WhatsApp chat between Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Dipesh Sawant and the actor’s friend Kushal Zaveri on June 14 has brought about a fresh twist in the case.
According to the WhatsApp chats accessed by Times Now, Dipesh, as per Sushant’s instruction, had messaged Kushal on June 14 to enquire about the Flipkart ad revenue.
“SSR asked me to get in touch with you regarding Flipkart,” Dipesh messaged Kushal at 10.51 am.
But Kushal saw the message later in the day and by that time, the news of Sushant’s death had become public.
Out of concern, a worried Kushal replied to Dipesh at 2.48 pm, “Bhai is safe no… Please reply Yes or No.”
“Bhai we are outside, let me know if you need any help. Bhai ko koi help chahiye toh phone karna. We will be there in 5 minutes”, he sent a second message at 3.34 pm.
However, during interrogation, Sushant’s cook Neeraj and flatmate Siddharth Pithani told CBI that on June 14, at around 10.30 am, all the members who were at the house — including Dipesh Sawant — were anxiously knocking on the actor’s bedroom door as he had locked himself.
The point of curiosity is that if Dipesh was knocking on the door at around 10.30 am, how did he manage to message Kushal at 10.51 am to enquire about an ad amidst the chaos at home.
