Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Rhea Chakraborty’s Judicial Custody Ends Today

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty’s judicial custody will end on Tuesday. The actor was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) earlier in September for her alleged role in a drugs case linked to fellow actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

Rhea was arrested on September 8 by the agency after three days of interrogation over the drug abuse case in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14. If found guilty, the actor faces jail terms up to 10 years.

The 28-year-old was taken into custody based on statements from other accused who have been arrested in connection with the case. She was made to confront her younger brother Showik Chakraborty, Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda and house staff Dipesh Sawant to ascertain their roles in an alleged drug racket.
