Mumbai: In the latest update in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, actor Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer said on Monday morning that she had not received summons from the CBI, NDTV reported.
Her family and she will appear before the agency if they are called, he added. NDTV quoted sources in the CBI as saying that the agency too, has not issued any summons to Rhea and her family yet.
It may be recalled that a special CBI team is in Mumbai since Friday after the Supreme Court ordered the agency to take over the case. A team of CBI officials visited Waterstone Hotel in Mumbai’s Andheri East as part of the probe, NDTV reported.
Earlier on Sunday, the CBI questioned Sushant’s staff member and his friend Sidharth Pathani.
