Mumbai: A day after he was found hanging at his Bandra residence, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father and his two sisters performed the last rites at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle here on Monday.
Sushant left behind a body of work which he himself should have been proud of since making his debut with ‘Kai Po Che!’ in 2013 and more was in the offing.
Dil Bechara
This is Sushant’s last film that couldn’t hit the silver screen because of the pandemic. Now, reports are doing the rounds that filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra is planning to release the film on OTT platform.
Rifleman
The actor had announced this film on social media on January 15 last year. The film is based on the 1962 war between India and China. Sushant was to play the role of Mahavir Chakra winner Jaswant Singh in the film.
Emergency
Sushant was signed for Anand Gandhi’s film ‘Emergency’. Earlier, Irrfan Khan was to do the film. After his demise, Sushant was roped in for the role.
12 Episode series
The actor had joined hands with Insei Ventures in the year 2018 to make a special series of 12 episodes, in which he was going to essay many roles from APJ Abdul Kalam to Chanakya.
Paani
