Sushant Singh Rajput’s Cousin Rubbishes ‘Father’s Remarriage Had Upset Actor’ Angle

Patna: Bihar BJP MLA Neeraj Kumar Singh, a close relative of Sushant Singh Rajput, has threatened to sue Sanjay Raut for controversial remarks about the actor’s family in his weekly column ‘Rokhthok’ for Saamna, the Shiv Sena mouthpiece.

Raut has alleged that Sushant did not share a cordial relationship with the family following his father KK Singh’s ‘second marriage’.

“How many times did Rajput visit his family in Patna? Why did (Rajput’s former girlfriend) Ankita Lokhande split from Rajput and this should be part of the probe? It is wrong to see the unfortunate suicide from a political angle,” Raut told the media.

Sources, however, told NDTV that Singh did not remarry after spousal death in 2002.

“He should be ashamed of using such language against an elderly person, that too who has been devastated by a tragedy. I would like to warn him that he should refrain him from talking such nonsense. Else I may consider slapping him with a case of defamation,” the MLA told the news channel.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra area on June 14. The CBI is now probing the case and has named six persons, including Rhea Chakroborty, as accused in its FIR.
