Mumbai: Young and talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput has gone too soon, leaving his family members inconsolable.
The actor’s last rites are being held at Mumbai’s Pawan Hans Crematorium and his family members, including his ailing father, have flown down to Mumbai from Patna.
Sadly, Sushant’s elder sister Shweta Singh Kirti, whom the actor considered equivalent to his mother, is stuck in the United States and will not be able to attend his funeral.
As per reports, Sushant’s elder sister couldn’t manage to get flight tickets for Mumbai and had appealed for help on social media.
After seeking help on social media, she managed to get flight tickets for India only on June 16.
However, Shweta is worried about the seven-day quarantine period after reaching India and has asked for help to waive it off.
She posted, “By everyone’s help… tickets to India are confirmed. I am flying on 16th, will reach Mumbai via Delhi. Worried about the 7 Day quarantine period… is there a way it can be waived off? I need to get to my family soon.”
