Sushant Was Afraid Of Death, Cannot Commit Suicide, Says Ex-Driver

Mumbai: Many unknown facts are surfacing during the investigation of the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case.

The latest revelation, made by Sushant’s former driver, is that the actor was afraid of death and, according to him, cannot commit suicide.

In an exclusive interview with Republic TV, the driver Anil Adivasi recalled an incident when he had dozed off while waiting for the actor.

Noticing that, Sushant asked the driver not to drive the car as he was tired and sleepy. Sushant took over and drove that day.

“I remember once he had got late as I was waiting, so I felt sleepy and dozed off in the car.  Sir came and asked if I was sleeping? When I told him no, he said, ‘No, you don’t drive’,” Anil told the TV channel.

“And then he only drove, while I came with a different car. So a person who can be afraid of death, can definitely not commit suicide, I can say it from my heart,” he added.

The driver further stated that he used to spend 15 to 16 hours with Sushant every day. He used to take Sushant to the sets for shooting and do the other chores for him also.

Anil, who had worked with Sushant in the latter half of 2018, said that he was sacked without any reason.

“I had worked with him for two and a half months. Don’t know why I was sacked. Maybe he might have got angry… not just me, two more drivers were sacked and also the bodyguard,” revealed Anil.

We were sacked suddenly. Can’t remember the exact date but it was around the time of Kedarnath’s release, and when he used to shoot for Chhichhore at IIT Powai (Bombay),” he added.

Talking about Sushant’s sudden demise, the driver said, “He used to have his dreams for the moon, so this fact can’t be digested.”
